MCPB (metal core printed circuit board) which includes a metal base, di electric layer, copper circuit layer, IC components and a solder mask. MCPCB's are heavily used these days than traditional FR4 or CEM3 PCBs for their competence to dissipate away the heat from the components. It is primarily used in LEDs to remove the heat from all topical IC's.
